Lunch & Learn: The Legal Side of DMEPOS Marketing
In this webinar, Michael Silverman, Esq., CDME and co-founder of Silverman Bain Law, will provide an overview of key healthcare marketing laws that aim to promote ethical practices, protect patients, and prevent fraud and abuse.
The webinar will focus on four significant statutes which address issues such as kickbacks, self-referrals, patient inducements, telemarketing practices, and false claims.
- The Federal & State Anti-Kickback Statutes
- Stark Law, Beneficiary Inducement Statute
- Telephone Solicitation Statute
- Federal False Claims Act
By understanding the provisions and implications of these laws, DME/HME facilities can contribute to a healthcare system that prioritizes patient well-being and maintains financial integrity all while still operating a profitable DMEPOS business.
